Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to every order placed on formik.shop. Please read them before you order. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer law that applies to you, including the Australian Consumer Law and, if you live in the EU, the UK or the EEA, the consumer law of your country.

1. Who we are

2. Who can order

We sell to consumers for personal use, with delivery to the countries listed on Delivery & duties. You must be at least 18 years old or order with the consent of a parent or guardian.

3. Products

Each product page describes what you get: the number of pairs or pieces, the cut, the colours, where the print runs, the sizes and the care instructions. Product photos show the actual product design; colours can look slightly different on different screens. Items pictured with a product but not listed under “What you get” (for example the reformer, or socks shown next to a towel) are not included.

4. Prices and currency

  • Prices are shown in the currency of the country you ship to, with the currency code (for example USD, EUR, DKK). You pay in that currency.
  • The price shown is the price of the item. Delivery is added at checkout, and the total is shown before you pay.
  • Import VAT, duties or fees charged by your own country on arrival are not included; see Delivery & duties.
  • If a price on the site is obviously wrong because of an error, we will tell you before we accept your order and you can decide whether to go ahead.

5. How the contract is made

  1. You add items to the cart, go to checkout, enter your details and choose a payment method.
  2. Before you order you can check and correct everything in the order summary.
  3. By pressing Place order and pay you make a binding offer to buy the items in your cart.
  4. We send an email confirming that we have received your order. The contract is made when we accept your order by that confirmation email.

The contract language is the language of the site version you order in (English, German, Danish, French or Swedish). We store the order details; you can see them in your account if you created one, and in the confirmation email.

6. Payment

The payment methods available for your order are shown at checkout. Card payments are processed by Stripe; PayPal payments by PayPal. Your payment is taken when you place the order. Card details are entered on the payment provider’s secure form and are never stored by us. Your bank or card statement will show FORMIK.

7. Delivery

We dispatch within 2–4 business days and deliver by tracked post to the address you give. Delivery times on Delivery & duties are estimates. Risk passes to you when the goods are delivered to you or to a person you nominate.

8. Returns, right of withdrawal and guarantees

Our 30-day change-of-mind returns, your consumer guarantees and the 14-day right of withdrawal for customers in the EU, the UK and the EEA are explained on Returns & refunds. You can withdraw online with the withdrawal button.

9. Use of the products

Our socks, wraps and towels are accessories for exercise classes. They are not protective equipment and we make no claim that they prevent slips or injuries. Follow your instructor and check your footing on each piece of equipment.

10. Our liability

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, and nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under that law or under the mandatory consumer law of your country. We are liable without limitation for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, and wherever the law does not allow a limitation. Otherwise, to the extent the law permits, we are not liable for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made.

11. Intellectual property

The FORMIK name, the six prints, the photos and the text on this site belong to us. You may not copy them for commercial use without our written permission.

12. Privacy

We handle your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. If you are a consumer living in another country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country.

If something goes wrong, please contact us first; we answer every message. Customers in Australia can also contact NSW Fair Trading or the ACCC. Customers in the EU can contact the European Consumer Centre in their country. We are not obliged and do not offer to take part in dispute resolution before a consumer arbitration board.

14. Changes

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one shown on the site when you placed it.
